Venom Controller Compatibility — Which Grills Does It Work With?

The Spider Grills Venom Temperature Controller is designed to work with specific grill models. It is not universally compatible with all kettle grills.

Compatible grills:

• Weber 22-inch kettle grills that use the One-Touch cleaning system (Standard, Premium, Master-Touch, Performer, Stealth)

• Weber Summit charcoal kamado-style grills

• Spider Grills Huntsman (Regular and Giant) — note that The Huntsman comes with the Venom and they are not sold separately

• Weber 26-inch Kettle (requires 26-inch conversion clips — sold separately)

Not compatible with:

• Weber 26-inch kettle grills without 26-inch conversion clips.

• Weber 18-inch kettle grills

• Weber Star-Spangled Kettle

• Weber kettles with 3-wheel bottom vents.

• Any non-Weber, non-Spider Grills kettle grills

Does the Venom require permanent modifications to my grill? No. The Venom attaches to your grill without any permanent modifications.

Can I use one Venom on two different grills? Yes. The Venom is simple to attach and remove, so it can be moved between compatible grills. Two separate grills do not require two Venoms.

Is the Venom compatible with gas grills or pellet grills? No. The Venom is designed for charcoal kettle grills only. It works by controlling airflow to a charcoal fire and is not compatible with gas or pellet grills.
